A bittersweet ending to a never faster, never so direct or more instrumentally, emotionally intense. An industrial rollercoaster of grief, shame & betrayal.
It is heavy & it is fragile.
Things that ended too soon,
A desire to forget but unable to
Repeated longing for another chance
And finally letting go.
Perhaps infinite hours of screentine and entertainment in the world already burning - unity in alienation. It is the end credits scene to an tragicomedy set in the first half of a trash decade, where things may turn around in the other half, though any possible optimism is never expressed explicitly.
